There are now four different version of the ipod available - the ipod shuffle, ipod nano, ipod classic and ipod touch. Ipods are the most popular digital music players today and Apple are collaborating with Nike to bring out a version aimed at the sports field.
The ipod shuffle is the smallest of the ipods available. It has a 1GB storage facility and can store up to 240 songs which can be downloaded from Apples itunes store. It is good to use on the run as it can simply be clipped onto clothing and is very small and light, making it perfect for the gym or out running . It is available in a variety of colours including silver, purple, red, green and aqua to name a few.
The ipod nano is bigger than the shuffle and has a colour screen to enable videos to be watched as well as playing music. It is possible to buy it in either 4 or 8Gb and five different colours.
